Here's this weeks' stock watchlist. This weeks' stocks to watch are: TWTR, CARR, TUP, KIRK, BABA, JD, EXPI, NIO, NPI.TO, RNW.TO, NVDA, AMD, IIPR, and TSLA.
1. Twitter (TWTR)
Last week, we were thinking TWTR could possibly reject off the moving averages and head lower. So far, it hasn't done that though. It has resistance nearby at around $45.15, and if it breaks through that, you can expect it to hit the next target of $48.
2. Carrier Global (CARR)
Watching to see if CARR can double bottom near its bottom from 2 weeks ago, or create a higher support base, and then make another move higher.
3. Tupperware Brands (TUP)
Nice break out from TUP recently. As long as it holds above ~$33.75, then it's still good. It can definitely hit $40 some time soon.
4. Kirklands (KIRK)
Amazing cup & handle pattern with increasing volume. Wish we'd seen this last week. If this breaks resistance around $13.60, it can head to $15 as the initial target, and $20 as the end target.
5. Alibaba Group (BABA)
BABA broke out of a wedge recently. It's targeting $280 in our opinion. Stop loss would be under Friday's low of day.
6. jd.com (JD)
JD seems to have formed a higher support base at previous resistance and looks like it can make a move higher from here.
7. EXP World Holdings (EXPI)
Big green volume suggests that this stock has found a bottom near $40. If this volume continues, it can definitely make its way back to previous highs.
8. NIO Inc. (NIO)
Until this breaks the 9 EMA (red line), the short-term momentum continues.
9. Northland Power (TSX: NPI) (OTC: NPIFF)
NPI looks very similar to how it did in September with that big green candle at the 50 SMA. Bullish.
10. TransAlta Renewables (RNW.TO)
Transalta also seems to have bottomed out near the 50 SMA and heading higher now.
11. Nvidia (NVDA)
NVDA has trend line support below, but other than that, it seems fairly weak. It had 2 big down days followed by a pretty weak bounce and is now curving downwards on the chart. No position, but keeping an eye on it.
12. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)
Tightening range on AMD. Will it break out to the up side? Guess we'll have to wait and see.
13. Innovative Industrial Properties (IIPR)
Consolidating after a big move. It will most likely move higher eventually, don't know exactly when. If it breaks ~$156 it can definitely start the next upward move.
14. Tesla Inc. (TSLA)
Nice break out on TSLA with high volume. It would be nice to see it pull back though, possibly to previous resistance near ~$460-465 area before moving higher again.
