10 Stocks to Watch This Week - May 16, 2021

5/16/2021

Here's this weeks' weekly watch list. The stocks to watch are: DAR, IHRT, BBCP, Z, WTFC, REGN, TSE, ICE, STLD, DISCA. Happy trading!

1. Darling Ingredients (DAR)

A decent break out here. Wouldn't be interested under $72.75 (the low of the most recent green candle). Will try to get an entry near $75 and target previous highs or higher.

2. IHeart Media (IHRT)

Called this stock pretty accurately in past watch lists, hopefully can keep that going. Price recently supported off the $21.80 area so that can be the new base. If not, likely the 20 EMA can support as it has before. Volume patterns still strong. $25 seems very possible.

3. Concrete Pumping Holdings (BBCP)

This is from last weeks' watch list. Here's what we wrote last week:

"Lots of good things going for this chart. First, volume is generally greater on green days than red days. Price also keeps bouncing off the 20 EMA  and Friday printed an engulfing candle. Pretty good setup. Stop loss under Friday's low."

We didn't end up getting stopped out (it was a close one though). Still long and there's a good chance BBCP can hit $9.

4. Zillow Group (Z)

Still in a downtrend but it has met 2 support trend lines. Will it hold? We think it can bounce to $119-120 area, but only if it breaks $113.30 resistance that it hasn't been able to break in the last 3 trading days.

5. WinTrust Financial (WTFC)

A close over $81 could indicate a break out. Support at $76. Would buy either near support or on a break out. Target: previous highs.

6. Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN)

Monthly chart looking nice. Is Regeneron breaking out of a multi-month pull back that is part of a longer-term bull flag break out and retest? Expecting horizontal resistance near $540-550, holding from $470's.

7. Trinseo S.A. (TSE)

TSE broke out of a horizontal resistance and then went back under. It created a base at $63.50 so we're going to use that as an initial stop loss level for a long. Target: $74-75.

8. Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)

Sitting at a trendline support for now. If it holds for a few days and starts curling higher, might be worth a buy.

9. Steel Dynamics (STLD)

65-minute time frame. Looking for a break of this range for a move to $66 and then $70.

10. Discovery Inc (DISCA)

Until DISCA makes a higher high, it's still bearish. Looks close to breaking down. Under $34.60 can see it go down to $30.
